Just read there will be a partial solar eclipse on the 4th January 2011 between 08:00 and 10:00 in the North East England.  I’m hoping to get out to go see it.  Unfortunately I won’t be able to photograph it unless I get kitted out with some solar filters for my Camera (and probably some decent eye wear too) unless I want to be blind.  I will be making it out on the evening of the 3rd January 2011 to watch out for the Quadrantid meteor shower
